thanks for everyone who's been so kind y'all are amazing 😭 this is so embarrassing but i needed to get it off my chest that night

just been talking with someone in my family about the past & it's always crazy how random awful memories pop up & to realize how traumatizing my past/childhood really was. it makes me want to bawl my eyes out every time for little me who went through all these things & how i've probably never really processed a lot of it no matter the crazy amount of therapy i've sat through. i kept comparing my trauma to those of other people in the past & i used to think mine wasn't valid at all compared to others which makes me so sad these days as well.

i want to go back & hold baby me & never let her go or bring her somewhere safe & protected & loving. who's cutting onions 😭 it makes me understand why little me keeps coming out in situations that overwhelm or trigger me, making me act like a child. i hate how i have to work so much harder on things most people do with ease & how i ruin relationships with everyone around me when all i want is to be "seen & loved" (the michael langdon reference byee-). it's like something in me says "nah you don't deserve this, go sabotage it for yourself", my brain is my worst enemy. (and my bpd) it hurts so bad & years go by with nothing changing even though i keep working so hard. that's why i often don't want to exist. it's so incredibly painful & exhausting. meanwhile others with similar/worse trauma get their shit together (not trying to compare myself anymore but still). anyway okay enough venting for tonight, might need some extra medication though.

Living with a disability, especially a progressive or dynamic one is so fucking stressful. I don't know whether I'll be able to do things I can do now in a couple of years or even a couple of months. Maybe today I'm up and dancing but tomorrow I can barely leave my bed. I'm already grieving the things I know I won't be able to do in the future and it's so, so so so hard. The worst part is that there's nothing you can do but try to enjoy life right now and hope you can keep doing what you love
